The Irresistible Table – Giveaway

Dining together as a family for some is a lost art.

I recently had the privilege of reviewing Mary DeMuth’s latest book “The Irresistible Table” Mary Demuth The Irresistible Table and through the end of February (yes that is two days) you have the opportunity to purchase this book and receive some fabulous freebies too!

  • Love and friendships are birthed and nurtured when we gather together…and once again in fabulous Mary DeMuth style… with love, grace and blessing- the writing of this book draws heart family and friend tighter and stronger.
  • Incredible recipes…woven with creativity – and inspiration!

From the first look at this beautiful book I was hooked. The thought of gathering around a table with friends and family while sharing a meal always brings a smile to my face.

Recently we sold our home of 20 years and downsized our possessions, selling many of them at multiple yard sales before the big move out day.

One of the pieces we sold was a very large oak dining table. I cried when the woman who bought the table came to pick it up. With tears in my eyes I told her how many memories the table held, how many meals, conversations, homework

papers and board games had been conducted around those smooth curved sides.

sniff- sniff… with a steady stream of water dripping down my face I told her I hoped she too would build many memories with her family around that table.  Then I gave her a hug. What can I say- I loved that table and the moments it was privy to.

If you like me long for the meat and potatoes of strong relationships in your life, in my humble opinion, there is no better way to do so than inviting friends over or holding an impromptu gathering of those you love or those you hope to know better.

Laughter happens.

Friendships are born.

Memories are made.

If you are not familiar with Mary Demuth and her incredible gifting as a writer, lover of life and of God I highly encourage you to connect with her via her website. She has been a blessing to me with her transparency and authentic living. I pray you are blessed by her work and the God who flows through all that she does.

Let’s get cooking- inviting and gathering around our own Irresistible Table!
