Weekend Reading Simply Abundant Life

Each weekend I love to leave you with a list of the best things I have read and seen on the Internet because, well, sometimes, you just need something fabulous to read. I’m excited to share these little treasures I have gathered and hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

If you read something great this week, leave a note in the comments and share.  Mostly, enjoy your weekend!!  Do something  incredible!

1) The Dirty, Messy Part of a Writer’s Life by Jeff Goins   who traveled this past week to Uganda as a part of  Compassion Bloggers.  A group of writers telling the stories of a precious people in a beautiful country. I dare you to look into the eyes of these children and be unchanged.

2) Two mom’s who are telling it like it is! A Tribute to anyone who has kissed a boo-boo or made a sack lunch  A fabulous hip hop, dead on, what is real in a home filled with little people and their mama’s who love them!

3) Freedom in 704 Square feet. an amazing story of living with less in an incredibly beautiful small space.  Lily Copenagle and Jamie Kennel’s small house is environmentally friendly and cleaning is a breeze since you can plug the vacuum in at one spot and reach the entire house from one end to the other! Can it get any better than that?

4) Impressive rendition of  Bastille’s ‘Pompeii’ sung by an incredibly talented group of young men acappella style  -something heart touching about the harmony and celebration in this beautiful moment of song!

5) Sometimes the hardest of times bring out the best in others. Chick- fil-A feeds stranded travelers during a traffic stopping rare southern ice storm blanketed Atlanta Georgia this week.
