help my unbelief

Unbelief

Each day I am reminded how I am asked to bring impossible things to the throne of God and my prayer is for him to help my unbelief.

Nothing in myself can change anything. Only God.

In one breath I believe he can move mountains, and in the next, I ask him to help me as I struggle to believe.

This is the real walk of a Christ-follower.

We pray, knowing he can, and our humanness wonders if he will… and our faith stands knowing he is sovereign.

Trust and faith. Flesh and spirit.

I am incredibly grateful he is God and I am not.

He loves us deeply and is able to shoulder all of our questions, the whys, why not and what-ifs.

Today I bring impossible things before my Heavenly Father, knowing he is more than able to do the impossible.

I leave it all at His feet, thanking him already for what I have not yet seen.

If I could change hard things for those I love I would, but we are not given the ability to do so.

We pray through tears, on bended knee, through shouts and in whispers, Lord, help my unbelief

We stand by waiting and watching, believing and hoping. Standing still, holding hurt close and still beliving in the unending never-changing grace of a God who never leaves.

Ever.

This is our hope and peace.

God is good. Always.

If these words spoke to you, please pass them on to someone you know who could use encouragement and hope. If they touched a tender place in your heart, lean into Jesus my friend and know you matter and are so deeply loved by him.

When we doubt, God is there. When we ask why God is there. When we are broken, God is there and when we need someone to be Jesus with skin on, he will send a friend.

Life shared is better and a burden between two is always lighter.

What impossible thing are you trusting God with today?

Blessings-
