Today is a gift which can not ever be given again. We know not what it  holds and where it’s journey will take us. Some who wake today will not lay their head upon their pillow again, others who show up for another day will be showered with blessing unexpected.

Smiles can be given or harsh words spoken. Discouragement may abound or hope offered. The words we choose to speak and the actions we are deliberate about this day may be the door through which tomorrow may or may not enter.

Through purposeful, yet small choices, we have the opportunity to experience this  ‘Wild and Precious Life”  wrapped up in the package of a seemingly not so special, kinda regular and a little bit the same as last Monday and search out the snippets of grace, love and laughter in the most unexpected places.

I am looking ahead at a “regular” Monday. But am squirming inside at the thought of doing a Monday like most of the others. What if this were my last Monday??

  • What if next week I was allowed to skip Monday and shoot right through to Tuesday?
  • What would I miss?
  • What would YOU miss?

Wild and Precious Monday… what will you hold? What is ahead for us? (I am a wee bit excited now for what we shall get to do today. )

Today. Looking for grace moments, chances to laugh and to forgive and to watch for a wild and precious moment I may have missed last Monday.

What is ahead for YOUR Monday…are you expecting a wild a precious one… and looking for unexpected surprises?

I would love to hear how you stay engaged when life does not feel wild and precious and what you do to push through a “regular Monday” day!

Blessings to all of you who so generously shared a few moments of your today by stopping by.

Virtual HUGS to YOU  ðŸ™‚

My Monday began when I woke up from a 75 percent sleep all night with a pain in my stomach, severe lower back pain and a strong desire to see the Lord taking me into his Heavenly home. I didn’t see Him so I figured it is going to be a typical day that I seem to have so many in my old age. I am in Ohio, house sitting my youngest son’s cat while he is in Conn. riding roller coasters throughout this week. So unless something huge happens, I’ll just sit here and talk to my lord and see if He has anything planned. Ken Swanson

    1. Ken- I think you need to hitch a ride on one of those roller coaster trips 🙂 That would definitely stir up some excitement and give you a radical story next time you are around the campfire!! So much of what you and Sue bring is laughter, joy and a genuine love wrapped up in serving others.

Mega blessings- we love you both much!
